Looks like our trip to the Zoo this week might not be as good as we were hoping for. The weather forecast for today is rain, rain and yeah you guess it, more rain! We hadn't planned on going on a particular day, we were just gonna try and make sure it was dry. At least then we would be able to take a picnic with us.

Miss-J and I were singing "we're all going to the zoo tomorrow" and chatting about all the "aaamals" that we are going to see lastnight and she was all excited. I just hope this rain clears up pretty soon!

I was also hoping to get my back yard cleared up this week while the husband is off work, but that doesn't seem to be going to plan either. I don't know about you but having to scrape up soggy cardboard off the floor isn't my idea of gardening.

I decided to dye my hair on Saturday morning, as the brown roots were really starting to hack me off! I went in search for the red hair dye I had stashed in my house. After about 30 minutes of searching I finally found it and got all excited, thinking that soon I would have lovely red locks again after living with a black mop for months. Oh how I was wrong!

The hair dye didn't take. Of 'effing course it didn't, the remaining colour of my hair was black (apart from the brown roots), so I should have known that it wouldn't cover or in the slightest lighten my hair. I was gutted. The water ran clear and I dryed and styled my hair as normal. Disaster! I had orangey roots and everything else was still black, I'm stupid. Anyway, I had to do an emergency hair dye buy while we were out shopping on Saturday and I still haven't gotton round to fixing the problem. I think I'm gonna give it a go today and hope for the best.
